About
I’ve always been deeply curious about what it means to live a meaningful life. What drives us? How do we grow, love, and heal? These questions have been with me for as long as I can remember—and they led me first to therapy as a client, then to the work I now offer as a therapist.
Therapy changed my life. It helped me grow up. Now, I have the privilege of walking alongside others as they engage in the vulnerable, courageous work of healing. I’m not here to “fix” you—I’m here to meet you with honesty, humility, and care as we navigate the path forward together.
“Relationality is at the core of everything we do. Healing happens in relationship—not in isolation.”
I’m a mature, seasoned, and experienced psychotherapist. My approach blends relational therapy, somatic tracking, mindfulness, and coaching. I work with the parts of you that keep repeating painful patterns—and support you in creating new ones.
Clients describe me as warm, direct, insightful, and occasionally humorous. I won’t just sit back and ask how you feel. I’ll walk with you, challenge you when needed, and guide you toward change.
My Values & Approach
Integrity, honesty, compassion, and humility guide everything I do. I see therapy as a sacred relationship—one rooted in safety, truth-telling, and connection. My approach blends rigorous training and evidence-based practices with a deep respect for the spiritual and emotional complexity of being human.
Originally trained as a systems thinker, I see each person in the full context of their life: their relationships, communities, identities, and the cultural forces around them. Over the years, I’ve been most profoundly influenced by modalities that center the mind-body connection, including:
Relational Life Therapy
Somatic Experiencing
AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy)
Trauma-informed, culturally humble care
At the heart of my work is a belief that human beings thrive in loving connection—with ourselves, with each other, and with something larger than us. Connection is our birthright, and without it we suffer. When we restore that connection, healing becomes not only possible—but inevitable.
Spiritual Lineage & Mentors
My life and work are deeply shaped by my spiritual teachers and mentors, and by decades of meditation practice. Teachers like Shunryu Suzuki Roshi, Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, Pema Chödrön, Adyashanti, Joko Beck, and Flint Sparks continue to guide me. Their teachings have taught me how to meet my own mind and emotions with curiosity and care, and how to support others in doing the same.
I owe immense gratitude to mentors like Peter Levine, Terry Real, Gabor Maté, and Diana Fosha—each of whom has helped shape how I show up in this work.
Through Buddhist practice, I’ve learned to slow down, stay present, and hold space without rushing to fix or change what’s difficult. This presence allows me to meet each client as a whole being—not just a set of problems, but someone who holds the innate capacity for healing and transformation.
A Few Personal Details
Outside the therapy room, I’m slowly training toward Zen priesthood. I love roots reggae, strong coffee, books, learning new things and unscheduled time. I care deeply about showing up as my full self—and I welcome your full humanity in return.
What It’s Like to Work With Me
Clients often describe me as warm, direct, relational, and deeply engaged. I bring insight, humor, and wholehearted presence to our work. I won’t just nod and listen—I’ll challenge you, support you, and walk beside you as you move toward the life you want.
Most of my clients find me through referrals—from other therapists or friends who’ve worked with me. People often say they feel “at home” in my presence quickly. I don’t take that lightly.
